Doug Staneart is a true rags to riches story. He grew up in the town of Palarm, Arkansas (Population 200) and was the first person in his family to attend college. Doug walked on as an NCAA athlete to play college football for Texas Tech University, and his work ethic helped him become a very popular leader among his teammates. Doug ended up earning a scholarship and graduating with honors.
After a few years working in corporate America for Atlantic-Richfield, Doug spent eight years as a trainer and a salesperson for some of the largest and most successful training companies in the world before founding The Leader’s Institute® in 2002. He is the author of the best-selling books Fearless Presentations and 28 Ways to Influence People and Gain “Buy-In”. Since December of 2002, when Doug invented the High Impact Leaders™ leadership class, he has trained over 2000 of the world’s future and current leaders.
