Two Main Types of Indoor Activities to Build Teamwork
Is the purpose of your meeting primarily for “Behavior Change” or are you looking for an event that is a “Shared Experience”?
- Behavior Change Indoor Team Events — One of the major types of programs are those that are designed to create a behavior change of some type. These workshops are best for groups who are having specific team challenges and want help getting to the next level of teamwork. These types of programs are typically delivered in workshops, seminars, breakout sessions, or keynote speeches. Click here for a complete list of all of our Behavior Change Indoor Programs.
- Indoor Shared Experience Activities — Shared Experience style indoor activities are those that are primarily designed for groups to have fun together. These events create a memorable experience that really builds camaraderie among coworkers. These events can have even more impact when they have charity or philanthropic outcomes as well. For smaller groups, shared experience events or outings are pretty easy, and no real facilitation skills are needed. For example, if you only have six people, then the leader could just take the whole group out for pizza and bowling. However, as the participant size gets bigger, it becomes very complicated to conduct activities where the whole group is active and involved and everyone has the same memorable experience. That is where expert facilitators like those here at The Leader’s Institute® can be very helpful. Click here for a complete list of Shared Experience Programs.
