The Rescue Bear Team Building Workshop^TM and charity event is a brainy, challenging, program where your group is divided into teams to solve specific challenges in order to build teddy bears and other stuffed animals for young children who have been through a traumatic event in your local area! Police departments, fire fighters, and children's hospitals often use teddy bears as a way to comfort children who have been in accidents or involved in a crime. Your group can help your local rescuers be a warm hand to these kids.

This is the original teddy bear team building event! Each team has puzzles to solve, codes to decipher, and secrets to unlock in order to acquire the resources that they need (part by part) to build a series of custom teddy bears, horses, cows, raccoons, and more.

Challenges are discovered along the way that must be overcome in order to accomplish their goal. The ultimate conclusion to the event is the understanding that, every member of the team has strengths and talents that they add to the group, and when we as a team tap into those strengths, we all accomplish more!

During your half-day or full-day event, you'll engage both your minds and your bodies in solving the puzzles of teamwork.

We'll cover ways to:

• Brainstorm.
• Problem-solve.
• Communicate better as a team.
• Identify strengths of individual team members.
• Collaborate better as a team.
• Realize that departments and individuals within a company can't act independently of their coworkers. When the team works together, they accomplish a lot more.
• And have tons of fun in the process.

Suggested Agenda

This workshop is designed to be 3.5-hours* long, but can be tailored to fit specific time frames. * 2 hour versions are also available for a slight discount.

• High Energy Ice Beaker that divides your team into small groups and explains the ground rules.
• Exercise: Identify Talents needed to be Successful - A high energy competition to gain a series of clue packets containing challenges to be completed later to receive the teddy bear materials.
• Exercise: Identify the Talents of Your Team - small groups determine how to best accomplish each task by identifying the strengths (and, as a result, weaknesses) of the individuals within their group.
• Rescue Bear: Each team gains materials to build their bears from scratch as they complete each challenge. Get out the cameras, because these tasks are both challenging and a blast!
