Visa Rescue Bear® Event in Washington, DC
Visa hosted a Rescue Bear® team building event at their Washington, DC office. It was part of a three-day quarterly business review. The event brought together twenty participants from various offices, including DC, NY, UT, and CA. This session was a perfect follow-up to their morning DISC assessment review. The event didn’t just enhance team cohesion, however. It also contributed to Children’s National Hospital by providing comforting stuffed animals for children in need.

Visa employees unite for Rescue Bear® event in Washington, District of Columbia
The Rescue Bear® event was seamlessly integrated into Visa’s three-day quarterly business review, following a DISC assessment session in the morning. This made the team building activity even more relevant and impactful, as participants could immediately apply insights gained from their DISC profiles. The event provided an excellent opportunity for familiar faces to reconnect and for new team members to meet in person for the first time. The diverse group from offices in DC, NY, UT, and CA worked together, enhancing their teamwork and communication skills through a series of creative challenges.
During the Rescue Bear® event, teams earned materials to build stuffed bears by successfully completing challenges. The excitement and camaraderie were palpable as team members collaborated to create the perfect huggable companions. The culmination of their efforts was the donation of these stuffed animals to Children’s National Hospital, a gesture that brought comfort and joy to young patients. Visa’s commitment to community service was evident as employees expressed their enthusiasm and fulfillment in making a positive impact on children’s lives.
