iCapital Ace Race® Team Building Event in New York City

iCapital kicked off its summer intern program with an Ace Race® team-building event. The event was held at its Midtown Manhattan headquarters in New York City. Interns competed through golf-themed team challenges and contributed to iCapital’s local food pantry partnership.

iCapital is a financial technology platform that helps wealth management professionals access and manage alternative investments. The firm works with asset managers, financial advisors, and their clients to streamline access to private equity, hedge funds, and other alternatives.

iCapital Summer Interns Compete in Ace Race® Challenge at New York City Headquarters

The Ace Race® is structured around a series of golf-themed team challenges. Teams rotate through stations, accumulate points, and compete to lead the field. The event keeps the groups moving and talking. Ultimately, this system matters early in a program, especially when people are still figuring out how to work together.

iCapital’s commitment to community runs through the event. The organization actively partners with local food pantries, and the Ace Race® gave the intern class a direct connection to that mission from day one. It is one thing to hear about a company’s values in an orientation. It is another to see those values reflected in how the team spends a summer afternoon.

We’d like to thank iCapital and Rachel Cheeks-Givan for bringing this experience into their summer intern program.
