Bank of America hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Charlotte, NC. The event brought together 360 first and second-year associates at the Bank of America Center for their end-of-year holiday volunteer initiative.

Bank of America Associates Unite for Build-A-Bike® Event in Charlotte, North Carolina
The Build-A-Bike® event served as a volunteer opportunity for associates from various corporate functions. They include risk management, CFO office, audit, and HR teams. Following the success of a similar event two years prior, this activity brought together the bank’s emerging talent for meaningful team building and community service.
The event transformed the Bank of America Center into a hub of collaborative energy as hundreds of young professionals worked together to assemble bicycles. This voluntary initiative demonstrated the company’s commitment to fostering both team spirit and community engagement among its newer associates. The large-scale participation highlighted the enthusiasm of Bank of America’s workforce for combining professional development with charitable giving.
The bicycles assembled during the event were donated to Kipp Change Academy, supporting local youth and furthering Bank of America’s commitment to community development in Charlotte. This partnership allowed the company’s holiday volunteer initiative to create lasting impact in their headquarters city.
