This impactful gathering took place at the MGM National Harbor Hotel, marking the culmination of a day filled with technical meetings. The event, attended by 205 CPower employees, was not only a delightful diversion from their routine discussions but also a meaningful venture into investing in the future of young individuals in the Washington D.C. area.

CPower energizes community and team spirit at Build-A-Bike® event Near Washington, District of Columbia

Aligning with the theme “Powering the Grid of the Future,” CPower’s Build-A-Bike® event ingeniously shifted focus towards empowering the future generation of the Washington D.C. area. This initiative allowed CPower employees to pivot from their day-to-day work on enhancing energy infrastructure to directly investing in the community by assembling bicycles for 26 deserving young children associated with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington.

The event served as an excellent platform for team members to unwind and connect with each other in a fun and meaningful way, reinforcing the values of collaboration and corporate social responsibility. It mirrored CPower’s commitment to not only advancing energy solutions but also fostering community well-being and development.

The act of donating bicycles to the children was a heartwarming conclusion to the day’s activities, underlining CPower’s dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of the youth.
