Fidelity Employees Unite for Build-A-Bike® Event in Durham, North Carolina
Fidelity hosted an engaging Build-A-Bike® charity team building event at their Durham, North Carolina office. In total, the event saw 94 associates and several executives come together for a meaningful and collaborative challenge. Following two days of intensive discussions on Strategic Priorities, Product Management, Delivery Practices, and Change Leadership, the Build-A-Bike® event served as a surprising and impactful finale.

Fidelity Leaders Come Together for Build-A-Bike® Event in Durham, NC
The Build-A-Bike® event provided an opportunity for Fidelity’s product and delivery leaders to reset, refocus, and reenergize. After spending two days co-creating ideas and action plans for implementing delivery improvements, the associates were thrilled by the surprise team-building activity. Divided into teams, they raced to assemble bicycles. After finishing, the teams would later donate them to the YMCA of the Greater Triangle. The competitive yet collaborative nature of the event helped foster camaraderie and teamwork among the participants.
Representatives from the YMCA of the Greater Triangle attended the event. They shared insights into their programs and the impact of the donations. They explained how the bikes would make a significant difference in the lives of children, promoting physical activity and providing a sense of independence. The heartfelt message resonated with the Fidelity team, enhancing the overall sense of purpose and fulfillment from the event.
