Despite initial fatigue and a smaller turnout than expected, the team rallied to build bikes for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Ohio. They even exceeded their goal by making additional bikes for the charity.

The Build-A-Bike® event at JPMorgan Chase in Columbus brought together fifty members of the CTC group for a day of learning and fun. Held after a multi-hour lecture series, the event was designed to reinvigorate the team and strengthen their bonds through a hands-on, collaborative activity. Although the team started slowly due to lecture fatigue and a lower-than-expected turnout, they soon found their rhythm and enthusiasm.
Divided into smaller teams, participants worked together to assemble bicycles, embracing the competitive spirit and collaborative nature of the event. The activity not only provided a much-needed break from the lectures but also reinforced the importance of teamwork and communication. The team’s efforts resulted in the assembly of several bikes, which were then donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Central Ohio. Their dedication and energy even led to the creation of a few extra bikes, further benefiting the local community.
