LAZ Parking employees unite for Build-A-Bike® event in Hartford, Connecticut
The Build-A-Bike® event at Bushnell Park provided LAZ Parking employees with an excellent opportunity to break out of their usual work routines and collaborate in a fun, competitive setting. The picturesque park set the stage for a morning filled with laughter, teamwork, and creativity. Teams raced against each other to assemble bikes. All the while, each group strove to be the first to complete their build. The event was a perfect blend of friendly competition and purposeful collaboration. Overall, despite the competition, it encouraged employees to work together for faster results.
The event not only focused on strengthening internal bonds but also on giving back to the community. By the end of the day, the LAZ Parking team had successfully built and donated ten bikes to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) in Hartford. These bikes, a symbol of freedom and adventure, were gifted to local children. In fact, many of whom received their first-ever set of wheels. The heartfelt donation was a tangible expression of LAZ Parking’s commitment to paying it forward and making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
We extend our sincere thanks to LAZ Parking for their generosity and participation in this meaningful event. A special thank you also goes to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Hartford for supporting local youth.
