League of Southeastern Credit Unions Amazing Builders Event in Columbus, GA
The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU) hosted an Amazing Builders team-building event at the Columbus Georgia Convention and Trade Center in Columbus, GA. With 100 participants, the event exemplified LSCU’s commitment to their core value of “People Helping People.” Attendees worked together to assemble 26 care packages, including handwritten letters of support, for active-duty soldiers being deployed. The day concluded with heartfelt gratitude from service members who attended to share the impact of the efforts.
The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates represents nearly 300 credit unions across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. In total, that’s more than $175 billion in assets and over 11.6 million members combined. LSCU provides advocacy, compliance services, education and training, cooperative initiatives, and communications, supporting the success and growth of the credit union movement.
LSCU Builds Camaraderie and Care for Service Members in Columbus, Georgia
The Amazing Builders event brought LSCU participants together to collaborate in creating care packages for active-duty soldiers. Taking place in the historic Columbus Georgia Convention and Trade Center, the event featured a series of engaging activities that fostered teamwork and strengthened bonds among colleagues. Each challenge completed earned supplies for the care packages, highlighting the spirit of cooperation and dedication.
The culmination of the event was a touching moment. In it, service members attended to express their thanks for the thoughtfully assembled care packages and personal letters. Hearing directly from those who would benefit from their efforts made a profound impact on the participants, reinforcing the importance of LSCU’s value of giving back to the community.
