With eighty participants gathering at the conclusion of a two-day departmental meeting, the event aimed to strengthen team bonds while giving back to the community. The energetic group brought their naturally enthusiastic spirit to the event. Thus setting the stage for an extraordinary team-building experience that would benefit local children in need.

The Build-A-Bike® event provided a perfect finale to the department’s two-day onsite meeting. The naturally fun-loving group brought their characteristic enthusiasm to the challenges. The team members showcased extraordinary spirit during the cheering competitions. Two participants even performed splits, while another impressed everyone with flips and high jumps, demonstrating the group’s exceptional energy and commitment to making the event memorable.
The event was made even more special by the presence of the President of The Y of Maryland, who delivered an opening speech and stayed to witness the teams in action. Shannon, the charity representative, not only attended the entire event but also served as a judge, fully immersing herself in the experience. Her evident enjoyment and participation strengthened the partnership between McCormick and the charitable organization, promising continued collaboration for future initiatives. The teams worked diligently to assemble bicycles that would soon bring joy to local children, combining their competitive spirit with their commitment to community service.
