National Christian Foundation Build-A-Bike® Event in Alpharetta, GA

The National Christian Foundation (NCF) participated in a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Alpharetta, GA. With twenty-six participants from their IT team, help desk, and project management departments, the event served as the culmination of their holiday party. The gathering combined festive activities like White Elephant gift exchanges with meaningful team building, all while reflecting the organization’s strong values and commitment to community service.

The National Christian Foundation is the largest Christian donor-advised fund sponsor in the United States, inspiring biblical generosity across more than 180 local communities nationwide. Since its founding in 1982, NCF has distributed over $20 billion to more than 90,000 charities on behalf of the families they serve. The organization specializes in helping Christians steward their resources wisely through their Giving Fund, innovative solutions, and extensive experience with gifts of non-cash assets such as stock, business interests, and real estate. As a ministry that shares the values of those they serve, NCF connects donors with generosity partners, cause experts, legacy-gift planners, and experienced charitable professionals.

National Christian Foundation team unites for Build-A-Bike® event in Alpharetta, Georgia

The Build-A-Bike® event provided a perfect conclusion to NCF’s holiday celebration, bringing together their technology professionals in a spirit of camaraderie and purpose. What made this gathering particularly special was the enthusiastic participation from every team member. Unlike some corporate team-building exercises where engagement can be uneven, the NCF team displayed universal enthusiasm and wholehearted involvement. Their competitive spirit emerged during the activities, but it was consistently balanced by exceptional teamwork and collaboration.

The event highlighted how the organization’s strong values permeate throughout their team culture. The character and positive attitude demonstrated by participants reflected NCF’s mission-driven approach to their work. As they assembled bicycles together, the activity reinforced connections between colleagues who typically collaborate on technical solutions but were now working side by side on a tangible project with immediate community impact. The holiday party context added an extra layer of festivity to the proceedings, creating a warm atmosphere of celebration and purpose.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the National Christian Foundation for their generous participation and donation to children in need. We would also like to express our gratitude to the Ed Isakson/Alpharetta Family YMCA for their partnership in distributing these bicycles to deserving children in the community.
