NCARB hosts Ace Race® event at International Fulfillment Corporation in Landover, Maryland
This Ace Race® event offered the architects at International Fulfillment Corporation a unique opportunity to combine their professional skills with a charitable cause. Teams worked together to design and build intricate mini-golf holes from non-perishable food items, which would later be donated to a local food bank. As they raced through the course, each team sought to achieve a hole-in-one, igniting a fun, competitive spirit within the group.
In addition to fostering teamwork and friendly competition, the event had a significant charitable focus. All food items used to build the course were donated to The Y of Greater Baltimore, an organization committed to supporting local families in need. The charity made a special appearance at the end of the event to personally thank the participants for their contribution. Ultimately, underscoring the event’s impact on the community.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to NCARB and the team at International Fulfillment Corporation for their enthusiasm and generosity. We also appreciate The Y of Greater Baltimore for their ongoing work in the community.
