Procter & Gamble Build-A-Bike® Event Near Cincinnati, OH
Procter & Gamble (P&G) held a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event at the Mason Business and Innovation Center in Mason, OH. With 32 participants, the event aimed to reinforce leadership skills and team cohesion. Led by leadership consultant Steve McMillen, the team building activities were aligned with his Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team. The event concluded with a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati.

Procter & Gamble team unites for Build-A-Bike® event near Cincinnati, Ohio
The Build-A-Bike® event offered the P&G team a dynamic opportunity to enhance their teamwork and leadership skills. The previous day, consultant Steve McMillen covered his Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, providing a foundation for the activities. The event began with Behavior 1, building trust, where participants engaged in activities to form new teams and establish rapport.
Behavior 2, conflict, involved challenging each team to solve puzzles to earn the parts needed to assemble their bikes. This encouraged problem-solving and communication among team members. As the teams progressed through the challenges, they moved towards Behavior 5, achieving results. By the end of the event, the teams had successfully built the bikes, showcasing their teamwork and perseverance.
The completed bikes were donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati, an organization dedicated to enabling young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. The donation added a meaningful conclusion to the event, highlighting P&G’s commitment to giving back to the community.
