Purchasing Power caps two-day meeting with bike team-building event in Atlanta, GA. 45 participants competed through team challenges to win parts and assemble bikes that were donated to the Foster Care Support Foundation. The meeting centered on a theme the whole team had on their minds: AI. The question on the table was not whether AI was coming. It was how to lean into it rather than fear what it might replace.
Purchasing Power is a delayed purchase program that partners with different companies. They provide employees with access to products from top brands, paid for over time through payroll deduction. They were recently acquired by PROG Holdings and have grown dramatically since.
45 team members sorted into teams and moved through challenges. This group came in excited and ready. They liked to compete, liked to laugh, and brought energy to the room from the start. That combination makes for a fast, memorable event — and that is what they got.
Purchasing Power Marketing Team Members Donate To Charity At Bike Building Event in Atlanta, Georgia
During their marketing meeting on how to approach the rise of AI, 45 team members participated in a team-building activity for charity. Five bikes were built during the event and went to the Foster Care Support Foundation. Rachel Ewald built the organization from the ground up with her husband over two decades and received the donation. This was the third Build-A-Bike® event Purchasing Power has run with Rachel and the foundation.
We’d like to thank Purchasing Power and their marketing team for ending two strong days with this kind of moment. We would also like to thank Rachel Ewald and The Foster Care Support Foundation for the incredible work they do for the community.
