SCA Health Ace Race® Event Near Birmingham, Alabama SCA Health gathered their remote team for an Ace Race® team building event in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. SCA Health Teams Up for Ace Race® Near Birmingham, Alabama

The SCA Health team chose the Ace Race® event as an ideal platform to interact and collaborate. Given that the majority were remote employees, meeting face-to-face was an enriching experience. The spacious Dogwood Room at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center provided a conducive environment for the team-building activities. Before the Ace Race, a Creating Team Culture event focused on stress reduction was conducted, addressing concerns raised from a recent survey about potential burnout. The team designed the day’s events not just for fun, but to instill a sense of camaraderie just before their busiest quarter.

The highlight of the day was the Ace Race®. In this game, design mini golf courses using non-perishable food items. As they raced to score hole-in-ones, their competitive spirit was evident, but so was the underlying purpose of charity. The materials used for the mini golf courses included canned goods and boxed food. They team later donated the food to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama. This gesture epitomized SCA Health’s commitment to community welfare, and their dedication to aligning professional goals with societal benefit.

A heartfelt thank you to SCA Health for making a difference in the community. Additionally, the community won’t forget their generous donation to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama. We applaud your team’s commitment to blending work with philanthropy.
