They held the event at the innovative and dynamic setting of Science Park. Overall, the event was the perfect way to end a full day dedicated to special events and training. During the event, the IT group from Yale University worked together to assemble bicycles for the Ronald McDonald House. The participants, who were engaged and enthusiastic, enjoyed the hands-on experience. Additionally, it provided the chance to bond outside their usual work environment. The group also appreciated hearing from representatives of the Ronald McDonald House, gaining insight into the positive impact their efforts would have on families in need.
The collective efforts of the Yale IT group resulted in the successful assembly of several bikes, which were then donated to the Ronald McDonald House. This organization provides a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. The event not only fostered teamwork and camaraderie among the participants but also reinforced Yale’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Yale University for their generous donation and their dedication to supporting children and families in need. Our gratitude also goes to the Ronald McDonald House for their invaluable work in the community.
