The Amazon leadership team came together for a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Seattle, WA on September 10th. This summit gathered 102 senior-level employees who arrived ready to participate with energy and enthusiasm. From the very beginning, their passion for teamwork was clear. The event featured lively contests, plenty of laughter, and a shared commitment to giving back.

Amazon Leaders Get Together for Build-A-Bike® Team Charity Event in Seattle, Washington
The event quickly turned into a celebration of creativity and collaboration. The cheer contest had it all; paper airplanes, confetti, and nonstop laughter. The judges called for a four-way cheer-off, and the room exploded with noise, joy, and team pride. By the time the bike-building challenge began, every team was fully invested. They solved clues with speed and determination, even when tricky hand brakes slowed them down. Their energy never faded, and the teamwork on display was inspiring.
The most powerful moment came when the bikes were presented to Treehouse for Kids. This organization provides foster children with the resources, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive. Dana, their representative, shared heartfelt words that connected everyone in the room to the children they were helping. Her excitement and gratitude lit up the room, reminding participants that their efforts reached far beyond the event. Knowing their hard work would give foster kids the gift of independence and joy added an unforgettable emotional impact.
