
ASML hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in San Diego, CA on the 23rd of July. Twenty HR professionals from different cities gathered for this engaging session. Some knew each other, while others were meeting for the first time, including new hires. Despite being a small group, they brought energy, determination, and teamwork. Together, they successfully assembled bikes to donate to Re-Bike San Diego.

ASML Employees Collaborate During Build-A-Bike® Team Charity Event in San Diego, California
The Build-A-Bike® event allowed ASML’s HR team to strengthen collaboration and communication. With participants from multiple areas, the activity encouraged cross-city connections and inclusivity. New hires were welcomed into the fold, building trust with their peers. The disc exercise generated excitement, showcasing problem-solving skills and sparking plenty of laughter. When it came time to assemble bikes, the team showed patience, perseverance, and commitment.
After working diligently, the group completed four brand-new bikes for donation. Re-Bike San Diego, represented by Doug, accepted the bicycles. Doug’s enthusiasm and dedication added even more meaning to the experience. His patience as the group perfected their builds reinforced just how important this event was to Re-Bike and the community at large. These bicycles will soon support children in the area, making the team’s efforts both impactful and rewarding.
