Kemper Employees Come Together for a Build-A-Bike® Team Charity Event in Atlanta, Georgia
The Build-A-Bike® event gave Kemper employees the chance to strengthen their teamwork and communication skills. Many team members were meeting in person for the very first time, luckily, the event was a perfect place to do it. By working through challenges and assembling bicycles together, participants embraced collaboration and reinforced their “one team” mindset.
The bikes were donated to the Foster Care Support Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping foster families. Sydney, a college student who has volunteered with the foundation since twelve, delivered an inspiring speech about the organization’s impact. At the end of the event, an employee from the foundation arrived in a sprinter van to pick up the bikes promptly, ensuring the donation reached children quickly.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to Kemper for their generous support of foster children in Georgia. We also thank the Foster Care Support Foundation for their commitment to empowering youth and families.
