Banana Republic, a brand under Gap Inc., wrapped up its Upper Field Conference with a high-energy Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Las Vegas, NV. Sixty district store managers gathered at the Bellagio Resort to build and donate bikes for local foster children. The event offered the perfect combination of teamwork, purpose, and celebration to close out the multi-day conference.

Banana Republic leaders build bikes and bonds in Las Vegas, Nevada
The event took place on the final day of Banana Republic’s Conference, where leaders came together for memorable team-building experiences. Held at the luxurious Bellagio Resort, the group broke into ten teams and got to work assembling bicycles. The activity fostered teamwork and communication, all while adding a joyful surprise twist to the conference agenda. It was a fun, fast-paced way for the team to collaborate beyond their typical retail roles.
As the teams completed their bike builds, representatives from A Greater Hope foster agency arrived to accept the donation. In total, the group constructed and donated 20 bicycles for children who may not otherwise have access to them. The moment of handoff was deeply meaningful for everyone involved, reinforcing the real-world impact of their efforts and ending the conference on a heartwarming note.
