CDP Creates Care Packages in Toys4Tails Event Near Boston, MA
CDP (Contributor Development Partnership) participated in a Toys4Tails charity team building event in Medford, Massachusetts. With fifteen participants, this special holiday give-back surprise event brought together team members who approached the activity with enthusiastic attitudes. While participants knew they’d be engaging in a charitable activity, they were pleasantly surprised by the nature of the event. Namely, that it focused on creating toys and care packages for animals in need through THE DOWNTOWN PAW charity!
CDP, founded in 2011, is a cooperative fundraising alliance that specializes in pioneering innovative fundraising technologies, marketing strategies, and scaled best practices. The organization works on behalf of more than 230 public radio and television stations across the country. They help them maximize their fundraising potential through collaborative approaches and shared resources. Additionally, CDP’s commitment to community extends beyond their work with public media to include giving back through initiatives like this team building event.

The Toys4Tails event served as a festive and meaningful way for CDP to celebrate the holiday season while making a positive impact. Upon discovering the nature of the surprise charitable activity, team members demonstrated great enthusias. They were fully engaged in the process of creating toys and assembling care packages for animals. All in all, the event allowed participants to exercise creativity while working together toward a common goal.
Throughout the activity, CDP employees collaborated in small teams. This allowed them to share ideas and assist each other as they crafted handmade toys designed to provide enrichment for shelter animals. Overall, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and teamwork. Participants put their hearts into creating items that would bring comfort and joy to animals awaiting their forever homes. This hands-on experience strengthened connections among team members while reinforcing CDP’s commitment to community service beyond their daily work supporting public media.
