Checkout.com ended their 2026 global offsite with an aMAZEing Builders team building event at The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown on August 5, 2026. About 50 participants from New York, Atlanta, California, and Canada competed through challenges and donated the completed builds to Agape Youth & Family Center. The event brought together sales, marketing, and writing teams for a competitive close to several days of work.
Checkout.com is a global payment technology company serving businesses in more than 150 countries. Their 2026 offsite gathered team members from four cities across North America and Canada. The event was the final session on the agenda, chosen deliberately for its energy and its community impact.
Checkout.com’s Global Offsite Closes with Competitive Amazing Builders Team Building Event for Atlanta Charity
The end of a multi-day offsite is a difficult stretch to program. Most groups are running low by the final day. Checkout.com addressed that by choosing a session that required physical engagement and had a competitive structure. Amazing Builders pulled the group in quickly and kept them there through the final build.
Kelsey Greenwood of The Leaders Institute facilitated the event. Around 50 participants, fewer than the 80 originally registered, but a fully committed group, formed teams and worked through challenges to earn supplies and materials. This group arrived competitive and stayed that way. They were into the activity from the first challenge.
William Green from Agape Youth & Family Center attended to accept the donation. He had cleared his schedule on two days’ notice and brought his own photographer to document the event. Agape serves youth and families in Atlanta through community programs. The team had worked with the organization before through an existing contact, and William’s preparation showed that relationship runs both directions.
We’d like to thank Checkout.com for ending a demanding week with something that mattered to the Atlanta community.
