Dell’s CFO L&D Team builds skills and supplies in Austin, Texas

The Amazing Builders event offered Dell’s CFO Learning & Development Team an efficient yet impactful team building experience during their lunch hour at The Westin Austin at The Domain. The activity began with an exploration of personality types, creating greater awareness of the diverse thinking styles and natural strengths present within their team. This insight proved immediately valuable. With it, members navigated the subsequent team challenges, strategically applying their newfound understanding of each other’s capabilities.

During the event, team members took turns being blindfolded while navigating an obstacle course with guidance from their colleagues. This exercise highlighted the importance of clear communication, trust, and effective leadership within the team. As participants successfully completed each challenge, they earned materials to fill backpacks with school supplies. The activity’s combination of self-awareness, communication practice, and charitable giving resonated strongly with the team’s professional development goals while contributing to Dell’s broader commitment to supporting education in their communities.

We extend our sincere thanks to Dell’s CFO L&D Team for their enthusiastic participation and generous donation of school supply-filled backpacks to students in the Austin Independent School District. We also appreciate AISD’s ongoing commitment to providing quality education to children throughout the Austin community.
