The team at First Day Life, Inc. came together for a Build-A-Bike® charity bike build in Austin, TX. With eighteen participants from across the United States and two international team members, the goal was to strengthen team bonds during their business strategy and casting meeting. As a primarily remote team, this event provided a valuable opportunity for face-to-face interaction and collaborative problem-solving in a relaxed, purpose-driven environment.
First Day Life, Inc. is dedicated to transforming the approach to vitamins, beginning with their flagship product—a children’s multivitamin. Their mission focuses on providing a “breath of fresh air” in the vitamin industry. They create products that families can trust and incorporate into their daily routines. With team members distributed across the country and internationally, First Day embodies the modern remote work culture while maintaining strong collaborative relationships.
First Day Life Team Unites for Build-A-Bike® Charity Event in Austin, Texas
The Build-A-Bike® event brought together First Day’s remote team members during their business strategy meeting in Austin. Coming from various locations across the United States and abroad, many participants were meeting in person for the first time. Despite their different backgrounds and locations, the team quickly formed a cohesive unit. They worked together to assemble bicycles while strengthening their interpersonal connections in a low-key, enjoyable atmosphere.
Throughout the activity, teams competed to correctly assemble bicycles, which would later be donated to children in need. The fun, low-pressure environment encouraged team members to showcase their true personalities and working styles. As the event progressed, participants from all corners of the country and beyond found common ground through shared goals and collaborative problem-solving, reinforcing their connections beyond digital communication platforms.
