On Sept. 24, Healogix hosted a charity bike build in Philadelphia, PA. 45 team members came together for a Build-A-Bike® team-building event at the Live! Casino & Hotel. The event took place on day two of the company’s twice-a-year in-person meeting. The fully remote team, most of whom live in or near Philadelphia, built bikes for kids through Not My Child, Inc. They ended the night by heading off to a Phillies game together.

Remote Pharma Team Bonds During Charity Bike Build in Philadelphia
Healogix is a completely remote company, so when the team comes together twice a year, the in-person time counts. This particular gathering was built around going over business, networking with one another, and talking through the direction of the company. As always, the group made sure to work in a charity event toward the end of day two.
The group was slightly competitive but cooperative throughout. The activity gave everyone a welcome chance to get up and move after all that sitting. Once the bikes were finished, the team kept the momentum going with a trip to a Phillies game.
The finished bikes went to kids through Not My Child, Inc., with charity representative Benita Tillman accepting them on behalf of the organization.
We’d like to thank Healogix for building this event into the team’s twice-a-year gathering and giving everyone a reason to reconnect in person. We would also like to thank Not My Child Inc. for the incredible work they do for the youth of the community.
