Kraton returned for their second Ace Race® charity team building event at The Canopy Pavilion of Hotel CityPlace Marriott in Spring, Texas. Kraton Expands Global Participation Near Houston, Texas

The Ace Race® event demonstrated significant growth from its previous year. This time, it expanded from a U.S.-focused gathering to an international celebration of teamwork. The Canopy Pavilion provided an elegant setting for this global assembly of polymer sales professionals. During the event, cultural differences dissolved in the spirit of friendly competition and charitable giving.

The competitive nature of the sales team shone through as they tackled the challenge of creating a mini-golf course using non-perishable food items. Teams from different continents brought their unique perspectives and approaches to course design, creating an exciting dynamic that enhanced the experience. The presence of colleagues from the UK and Japan added a rich layer of cultural exchange to the event, proving that the language of competition and charity is truly universal.

All the food items used to create the challenging golf courses were donated to the Salvation Army Conroe, transforming their sales expertise into community impact. The event’s growth from 40 to 115 participants demonstrates Kraton’s commitment to both team development and expanding its charitable footprint.

This is a fantastic example of how team bonding activities for large groups can scale easily. The 40-person group last year had an absolute blast. Then, our instructors were able to scale to a group size almost 300% bigger and even increase customer satisfaction!
