Kraton Global Leadership Forum Ace Race® Event Near Houston, TX
Kraton hosted a high-energy Ace Race® charity team building event at The Canopy Pavilion of Hotel CityPlace Marriott in Spring, Texas. With 115 participants from Kraton’s offices in the United States, the UK, and Japan. Overall, this event brought together the Global Leadership Forum for an afternoon of teamwork and friendly competition. In fact, this was the second time Kraton held an Ace Race® with The Leaders Institute. Building on the success of last year’s event, which featured only U.S.-based employees, the expanded participation from global offices made this year’s event even more memorable.

The Ace Race® event provided Kraton’s Global Leadership Forum with the perfect opportunity to build stronger relationships. All while engaging in a fun and competitive challenge. Teams were tasked with creating a mini-golf course using non-perishable food items. Then, they raced to get a hole-in-one on each hole. The event featured 115 high-level polymer leaders from the U.S., UK, and Japan, making it a truly international affair.
This marked a significant expansion from the previous year’s Ace Race®, which only involved 40 U.S.-based participants. The added competition from global offices not only increased the challenge but also fostered cross-regional connections, allowing team members from different countries to collaborate and strengthen their communication skills in a lighthearted environment.
Beyond the team-building fun, the event had a strong charitable focus. The non-perishable food items used to build the golf course were donated to a local food bank in Spring, Texas. Kraton’s leaders were eager to contribute to this meaningful cause, and their teamwork resulted in a substantial donation that will help support families in need in the local community.
We would like to thank Kraton for their continued participation and generosity. A special thank you to the local food bank for helping distribute the donated items to those in need.
