McCormick & Company hosted a Rescue Bear® team-building event in Hunt Valley, Maryland. 50 members came together for a Day of Fun, with the featured activity being Rescue Bear®. By the end of the session, the group had built 28 plush animals. Each one was destined for the Hidden Battle Foundation.
McCormick & Company is a global leader in spices, seasonings, and flavoring products. Based in Hunt Valley, the company is recognized by consumers around the world. The Marketing Department organized this event as a team celebration. The goal was a fun, connected, and meaningful day together.
50 McCormick Associates Gather For Rescue Bear® Team-Building For Charity
The session opened with a temperament activity. This exercise introduced participants to different personality styles. Each person explored their own communication preferences. They also learned how their colleagues tend to think, respond, and work. The activity sparked honest conversations across the group.
From there, the group moved into the bear-building phase. Teams worked together to compete through different challenges earning materials to build teddy bears for charity. The group finished with 28 completed plush animals. Those bears will be shipped to the Hidden Battle Foundation. The Hidden Battle Foundation organization supports children and families through difficult times. Each bear will bring comfort to someone who needs it.
