Meltwater hosted an aMAZEing Builders Combo charity team building event in Atlanta. Thirteen members of the Marketing Operations team gathered for a two-day training. This marked the second year working with this fully remote group. The team flew in from different locations to connect in person. The event combined skill-building sessions with a hands-on charitable activity. The goal focused on strengthening communication while giving back to the community.

The Combo Program began with interactive sessions on time management and gaining enthusiastic cooperation. These discussions helped the team address the complexity of their daily schedules. Participants shared ideas and explored ways to improve collaboration. The Strength-Centered Compliments activity stood out as a highlight. Team members recognized each other’s strengths, which created a positive and energized atmosphere. By the end of the session, the group showed greater confidence and engagement.
The event then transitioned into the aMAZEing Builders activity. Teams navigated challenges that required trust, clear direction, and strong attention to detail. Each group approached the tasks with a different strategy, which led to engaging conversations. The activity mirrored many of the skills the team uses in their daily work. As the competition unfolded, laughter and encouragement filled the room. The experience reinforced lessons from the earlier training while keeping the energy high.
The event supported Toomer Elementary, a Title I school in Atlanta. The school partnered closely and provided a smooth coordination process. Supplies earned during the activity will benefit students in need. This connection added meaning to every challenge completed. The team left knowing their efforts would make a difference in the local community.
