Meta organized a Build-A-Bike® charity team-building event for fifty-five participants at the picturesque Sunrise Ranch Winery in American Canyon, California. The event aimed to enhance teamwork and collaboration among the international group while giving back to the local community by building bikes for children in need.

The Build-A-Bike® event provided an exceptional opportunity for Meta’s team to strengthen their collaboration and communication skills. Set against the stunning backdrop of Sunrise Ranch Winery, the shaded outdoor venue offered breathtaking views, creating an inspiring environment for the activity. Despite the captivating scenery, the participants remained focused on their mission: assembling bicycles for the children of Sassarini Elementary School in Sonoma, California.
During the event, the Meta teams competed in a series of challenges to earn the necessary parts to build the bikes. The participants’ dedication and teamwork were evident as they worked diligently to complete the task. The group’s collective efforts culminated in the assembly of numerous bikes, which were then donated to the students of Sassarini Elementary School. Many of these children come from families below the poverty line, making the donation especially impactful.
The children’s excitement and gratitude upon receiving the bicycles were heartwarming, and the Meta team felt a profound sense of accomplishment and unity. The event not only strengthened the bonds within the team but also highlighted Meta’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
