MorganFranklin Consulting participated in a Build-A-Bike® bicycle charity team building event in McLean, VA. The event, which took place at Tysons Tower, brought together 30 participants from two previously separate teams as part of a multi-day integration initiative. MorganFranklin Consulting employees forge new bonds at Build-A-Bike® event near Washington, DC

The Build-A-Bike® event served as a crucial catalyst in merging two distinct teams into a cohesive unit. The intimate setting at Tysons Tower, while compact, proved advantageous for the team’s integration objectives. The space naturally encouraged interaction and collaboration, preventing participants from defaulting to their previous team alignments. This physical proximity created an environment where team members had to work closely together, facilitating natural conversations and connections that transcended their original team boundaries.

Throughout the event, participants engaged in bicycle assembly challenges that required them to collaborate across their previous team divisions. The activity provided a neutral platform where everyone could contribute equally, regardless of their original team affiliation. By working together toward the common goal of building bikes for children in need through the YMCA of DC, team members began to forge new relationships and develop a shared sense of purpose. The charitable aspect of the event added meaningful depth to the team-building experience, uniting participants not just as colleagues but as contributors to their community’s wellbeing.

We extend our sincere thanks to MorganFranklin Consulting for their participation and generous contribution to youth in the DC area. Special appreciation goes to the YMCA of DC for their continued dedication to strengthening our community.
