Morton Salt hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team-building event at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas. Twenty-seven team members came together for a productive and fast-paced event that resulted in the construction of 30 bicycles. The activity, which balanced efficiency with fun, demonstrated Morton Salt’s commitment to teamwork and community impact.

Morton Salt employees come together for Build-A-Bike® event in Kansas City, Missouri
The Build-A-Bike® event was a fast-paced and collaborative experience. Overall, the Morton Salt team worked diligently to assemble 30 bikes within a two-hour time frame. The facilitator prepped much of the equipment in advance, ensuring the group could focus on both the building process and other interactive activities. The participants’ energy and focus made the event a seamless and enjoyable experience. All in all, the activity highlighted their strong teamwork and commitment to excellence.
Set in the welcoming DoubleTree by Hilton venue, the event provided a positive and engaging atmosphere for the team. By working together toward a shared goal, the participants left the activity feeling more connected and accomplished.
The 30 bikes assembled during the event were donated to two outstanding organizations: Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Boys & Girls Club. These bikes will provide meaningful opportunities for children in need, reinforcing Morton Salt’s dedication to supporting local communities and inspiring joy and adventure for kids.
