The evening began with a presentation from PwC’s recruiting team, sharing insights about internship programs, mentorship opportunities, and career pathways. This was followed by a networking session where PwC representatives and UC Berkeley students connected and exchanged ideas.

Next came the Build-A-Bike® activity, where participants split into teams for a series of collaborative challenges. Combining communication and problem-solving skills, the teams successfully assembled eight bicycles. However, the interactive nature of the event didn’t only foster teamwork. It also provided an exciting opportunity for the students to experience PwC’s culture of collaboration and impact.

They donated the completed bicycles to the Berkeley chapter of the YMCA of the East Bay. These bikes will be distributed to families in the area who may not otherwise have access to such gifts, bringing joy and mobility to children in need. This partnership highlights PwC’s commitment to community service and making a tangible difference.

A heartfelt thank you to PwC for hosting this impactful event and to Berkeley Women in Business and the Society of Women Engineers for their enthusiastic participation. Additionally, we extend our gratitude to the YMCA of the East Bay for ensuring these bikes will benefit local families.
