The Novolex® team, leaders in packaging choice and sustainability, gathered for a Rescue Bear® team building event in Roanoke, TX. This event brought together 15 leaders from across the country, including members from market development, product management, and R&D teams. The primary aim was to enhance successful collaboration across various departments while integrating a fun, philanthropic element. The event also featured a special focus on leadership development, particularly in honing presentation skills and overcoming public speaking fears.

At the Rescue Bear® event, the Novolex® team focused on enhancing collaborative skills and leadership qualities. The group, comprising leaders from diverse teams, engaged in activities designed to recognize and utilize the unique strengths of each member. This approach not only fostered successful teamwork but also highlighted the importance of diverse skill sets in collaborative environments. Moreover, the event included a valuable session on presentation skills, aiding participants in overcoming public speaking fears and boosting their confidence as leaders.

The afternoon was not just about team building; it also had a significant philanthropic aspect. Participants worked together to create teddy bears, tapping into their creative problem-solving skills. These stuffed toys were then donated to the Roanoke Police Department’s ‘Santa Cops’ program, aimed at fulfilling Christmas wishes for underprivileged children within the Northwest ISD. The presence of the Roanoke Police Department, who personally accepted the toys, added a profound and emotional dimension to the event, making it a truly impactful experience for all involved.
