Purchasing Power, an Atlanta-based leader in voluntary benefit programs, hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event at their headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. This event brought together twenty-eight members of the extended leadership team. Overall, it included VPs and above, for a full day of training, meetings, and team-building activities under the theme “Power Up!”

Purchasing Power offers eligible customers access to brand-name consumer products and vacation packages through convenient payroll deduction, promoting financial wellness and responsibility. The company’s mission, “Powering People to a Better Life,” reflects its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals by providing a pathway to obtain both small and significant life improvements. The program is provided through employers and is also available to federal civilian employees, retirees, and retired military personnel.

Purchasing Power leadership unites for Build-A-Bike® event in Atlanta, Georgia

The Build-A-Bike® event at Purchasing Power’s Atlanta headquarters provided a dynamic and engaging environment. It allowed the company’s leadership team to reinforce their commitment to diversity and community giving. The day’s activities focused on major initiatives, training, and strategic meetings. All in all, topping it all off with the Build-A-Bike® event served as a meaningful conclusion to the event.

Teams collaborated to assemble bicycles, fostering a spirit of teamwork and unity among the leadership group. The inclusion of employees’ children added a joyful and family-friendly element to the event. The assembled bicycles were donated to The Urban Indigo Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting underprivileged youth in the community. Representatives from the foundation were present to receive the bikes. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing the significant impact these donations would have on the lives of the children they serve.
