Meta’s Build-A-Bike® Event Near San Jose, California
Meta hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event at their Menlo Park, California campus. The event brought together twenty-four participants from around the world, including locations as diverse as San Diego and Tokyo. This gathering was an opportunity for team members, who seldom meet in person, to strengthen their working relationships and improve collaboration.

Meta employees unite for Build-A-Bike® event near San Jose, CA
The Build-A-Bike® event at Meta’s Menlo Park campus provided a vibrant and interactive environment for employees to enhance their teamwork skills. The group, comprising members from various international locations, valued this rare in-person interaction to discuss strategies for better collaboration. The event served as a perfect conclusion to their two-day conference, combining fun with a meaningful community contribution.
During the event, teams collaborated to assemble bicycles, engaging in friendly competition and building camaraderie. This hands-on activity allowed participants to work together towards a common goal, showcasing their problem-solving skills and teamwork. The event concluded with the donation of the assembled bicycles to the PAL Center, an organization dedicated to supporting youth in the local community. Representatives from the PAL Center were present to receive the bikes and expressed their appreciation, highlighting the positive impact these donations would have on the children they serve.
