Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel Build-A-Bike® Event in Springfield, MA

Airgas gathered for a Build-A-Bike® charity bike build event in Springfield, Massachusetts. With thirty participants from the sales and marketing departments, the event served as both a sales team meeting and holiday celebration with a meaningful purpose. Led by VP of Sales/Marketing Brenda, the team came together at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel, where some team members were meeting for the first time, while others had established working relationships.

The company safely and reliably provides products, services, and expertise through its more than 18,500 associates, over 1,100 locations (including branches, fill plants, and production sites), robust e-Business platform, and Airgas Total Access® telesales channel.

Airgas Sales and Marketing Team Unites for Build-A-Bike® Event in Springfield, Massachusetts

The Build-A-Bike® event provided the perfect opportunity for Airgas’ sales and marketing team to connect beyond their typical work interactions. Initially skeptical about the team building activity, within just 15 minutes, participants were cracking jokes and fully immersed in the experience. The event transformed from a standard holiday gathering into a meaningful team bonding experience where colleagues could see different sides of each other outside their usual professional roles.

During the event, team members collaborated to assemble bicycles while engaging in friendly competition. What made this event particularly special was how quickly everyone became invested in the charitable aspect. Team members felt a deep connection to the cause, knowing their efforts would directly benefit children in need. The entire group enthusiastically participated in team cheers and activities, demonstrating their commitment not only to team success but also to making a positive impact in their community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Airgas for their generous bicycle donations to children in need. We’d also like to thank Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampden County for their continued dedication to supporting youth in the community.
