The lively crew from Skamania Lodge in Washington came to reconnect. Similar to many companies, staff had not seen each other for at least two years. They were more than willing to build and compete in-person.
Washington’s Columbia Gorge houses Skamania Lodge. Their rooms are spacious and surround you with nature. While some rooms offer a more typical stay, they also offer luxury treehouses as an option, too. Guests have plentiful activity options nearby and on the property to choose from. Personally, I might venture through their adventure park, nearby hiking trails, or water activities galore.
Skamania Golfs For Charity During Team Event
This event began by pumping everyone up through quick warm-up activities. Then the real fun began; staff had the opportunity to live out their own childhood dream: building a miniature golf course. During The Ace Race®, teams build their putt-putt hole using canned items. The real competition begins when members golf through each hole built. Teams attempt to golf the fastest or best through each hole.
Skamania chose one of our charitable team-building programs. So after golfing, Skamania donated their items to WAGAP. WAGAP stands for Washington Gorge Action Programs. It is a non-profit organization that works to help families and communities. They provide short and long-term help to those in need while strengthening the community. For instance, WAGAP helped staff from a packing plant through a hard time. Many employees were jobless due to a fire but were given help to get through.
