Terumo Global Leaders Unite for Build-A-Bike® Event in Denver, Colorado
The Build-A-Bike® event brought together Terumo’s most influential leaders, transforming their natural competitiveness into a force for community good. The executives typically focus on advancing blood and cell technologies. But today, they channeled their leadership skills into a different kind of life-changing activity. The same drive that pushes them to innovate in medical technology was evident in their enthusiastic approach to bicycle assembly.
The event perfectly aligned with Terumo’s pledge to be a conscientious corporate citizen. Overall, it demonstrated their commitment to creating social impact alongside their technological advances. The completed bicycles were designated for Mile High United Way’s Holiday Store, adding a special dimension to the project. This innovative distribution method ensures that parents can select and give the bikes to their children themselves, rather than receiving them as direct donations. This approach resonates with Terumo’s own philosophy of empowering others, whether through medical technology or community support.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies’ Global Leadership Team. Thank you for bringing the competitive spirit and commitment to excellence to this charitable initiative! Special thanks to Mile High United Way for their creative approach to holiday giving through their Holiday Store program.
