US LBM Leaders Unite for Build-A-Bike® Event in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The decision to begin their leadership development week with the Build-A-Bike® event set an energetic and collaborative tone for the gathering. Normally, they focus on distributing building materials across the nation. However, in the downtown setting of the Minneapolis Marriott City Center, these leaders turned their attention to a different kind of construction project. An event that challenged their creative problem-solving abilities. At the same time, it strengthened the bonds between leaders from various regions of the company’s extensive network.

The bicycle assembly project naturally complemented US LBM’s expertise in building and construction. Just as they provide the materials that help build communities across America, these leaders worked together to build bicycles that would make a difference in their host city. All in all, the six completed bicycles were donated to the John Hardeman III Branch of the Boys and Girls Club. Thus creating a lasting impact in the Minneapolis community. This hands-on charitable activity demonstrated how US LBM’s leadership brings their building expertise and community commitment together in meaningful ways.

We extend our sincere appreciation to US LBM. Thank you for choosing to begin your leadership development week with this impactful team building event. Special thanks to the Boys and Girls Club – John Hardeman III Branch for their dedication to supporting youth in the Minneapolis community.
