The event was part of a two-day leadership program aimed at college students exploring careers in public accounting. With 45 participants, the goal was to cultivate leadership, community service, and internal networking. The activity brought together college students, associates, and managers from TJT in a hands-on learning experience with a meaningful cause.

The Build-A-Bike® event gave participants a platform to practice leadership, communication, and teamwork in a dynamic setting. Students worked alongside firm professionals, learning about TJT’s culture while building something meaningful together. The energy in the room was high as teams navigated problem-solving challenges, built bicycles, and formed connections beyond typical networking conversations. The event seamlessly blended skill development with fun, making it a standout moment of the two-day program.
Each team raced to complete their bikes, driven by a shared mission—supporting kids through the Wake County Boys & Girls Club. The organization received all the completed bicycles, which will be given to local children in need. This powerful charitable connection reminded everyone of the broader impact of their teamwork. The spirit of service ran deep, as students and staff bonded over building both bikes and a stronger community.
