US LBM Leaders Come Together for Amazing Builders Event in Minneapolis, MN
US LBM brought together 35 of their top professionals for an Amazing Builders charity team-building event at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This event served as the kickoff for US LBM’s “Leaders of Leaders” skills development program. This program is designed to connect and inspire the company’s emerging leadership talent.
US LBM is a leading national distributor of building materials. They cater to construction professionals, including new homebuilders, commercial builders, and remodelers. With over 450 locations nationwide, including lumber yards, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants, US LBM offers a comprehensive portfolio of specialty building products such as windows, doors, roofing, siding, and cabinetry. Their extensive network and diverse product offerings make them a crucial partner in the construction industry, helping to build and remodel homes and commercial properties across the country.
US LBM’s top talent competes for a cause in Minneapolis, Minnesota
During the Amazing Builders event, the selected leaders were divided into four teams. Then they they competed in an indoor obstacle course that required skill, teamwork, and effective communication. The goal was not only to strengthen their leadership and collaboration skills, however. It was also to make a positive impact on the community. Each team successfully assembled five backpacks filled with essential items, resulting in a total of 20 backpacks. They then donated them to Agate Housing and Services, a local charity dedicated to providing housing and services to those in need.
The event was both inspiring and thought-provoking, providing a powerful start to the “Leaders of Leaders” program. Participants left with a deeper connection to their colleagues and a sense of accomplishment. All in all, they knew that their efforts would support individuals and families facing homelessness.
