Veolia gathered for a bike building charity team building activity in Tucson, AZ. The leadership group met at The Westin La Paloma Resort for an experience that combined collaboration with community impact. During the fast-paced activity, participants worked together to assemble 11 bicycles for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. What started as a lively competition quickly became an emotional and memorable experience for everyone involved.

Veolia Employees Unite For Build-A-Bike® Charity Team Building Activity in Tucson, Arizona
The Build-A-Bike® gave Veolia employees a chance to step away from meetings and connect in a more meaningful way. Teams worked together to solve riddles and assemble bicycles as quickly as they could, filling the room with energy as participants encouraged each other and raced to complete their bikes. Throughout the event, the activity strengthened communication and created relationships between the team like never before.
The real purpose of the activity came during the charity presentation. After the teams completed the bicycles, children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America arrived for the surprise reveal. Emotions spread across the room as the kids entered and saw the bikes waiting for them. One young boy immediately began jumping with excitement when he spotted his new bicycle. Several Veolia team members became emotional as they watched the children react. The donated bikes will help provide recreation, independence, and confidence for local children served through the organization’s youth programs.
