Nibbi Brothers Construction gathered for a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in San Francisco, CA. More than 150 team members from across the Bay Area attended the large-scale Safety BBQ event. The day focused on revisiting safety policies, enjoying great food, and reconnecting with coworkers from different job sites. Teams also worked together to assemble and donate 20 bikes to Family House. The event continued Nibbi’s longstanding relationship with the nonprofit organization while giving employees a meaningful way to support local families.

The Safety BBQ brought together field teams from across the Bay Area for a day packed with connection and purpose. Employees revisited key safety policies while catching up with coworkers over food and conversation. The relaxed atmosphere helped teams strengthen relationships outside of active construction sites. Then the energy shifted as teams jumped into the Build-A-Bike® competition. Groups worked side by side to assemble bikes while racing against the clock. The event blended teamwork, friendly competition, and community impact into one memorable afternoon.
The charity portion of the evening carried special meaning for the Nibbi team. Family House already held a strong connection with the company because Nibbi helped build the nonprofit’s facility. That history made the bike donation feel even more personal for everyone involved. Family House supports families of children receiving treatment for serious illnesses by giving them a place to stay near hospitals and care centers. By donating 20 completed bikes, the Nibbi team continued a relationship built on service and support. The event created a seamless combination of giving back, strengthening company culture, and supporting families during difficult times.
