Meta Engineers Build Bicycles and Support Local Families During Team Building Activity in Menlo Park, California
More than 100 Meta engineers gathered for this unforgettable Build-A-Bike® event as part of their offsite meeting. The group quickly embraced the competitive nature of the event and dove right into a bunch of team challenges. Teams worked together to solve problems, communicate effectively, and earn the parts needed to complete their bicycles. The event brewed an electric atmosphere where participants could step away from their daily responsibilities and connect with peers in a different way. Throughout the program, the team’s excitement and competitive spirit kept the energy high.
As the challenges continued, teams focused on assembling bikes that would soon benefit local children. By the end of the event, the group successfully built 13 bikes for donation. Safe & Sound received the completed bicycles and will help place them with families who can benefit from them. The combination of teamwork, creativity, and charitable giving made the experience especially meaningful. Participants left knowing their efforts had created both stronger workplace connections and a positive impact in the community.
We give a big thank you to Meta for their donation to children and families in need. We’d also like to thank Safe & Sound for their dedication to supporting youth and strengthening families throughout the San Francisco community.
