BDO gathered for a Build-A-Bike® corporate team building event in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event took place during the BDO USA Alliance Conference at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Twenty-eight leaders came together for several days of meetings, collaboration, and team development. Their goal was to break down silos and strengthen connections across the leadership team. By the end of the event, they had successfully assembled four bicycles for children supported by A Greater Hope.

BDO Leaders Break Down Silos During Build-A-Bike® Corporate Team Event in Las Vegas, Nevada
The BDO leadership team arrived in Las Vegas with a clear objective. They wanted to strengthen relationships across departments and improve collaboration. While meetings provided opportunities for discussion, the Build-A-Bike® event allowed participants to put those lessons into action.
Working in teams, participants tackled challenges that required communication, planning, and cooperation. As the activity progressed, leaders connected with colleagues outside their usual groups. The event created a relaxed environment where participants could build stronger relationships while working toward a shared goal.
The charitable aspect added even more meaning to the experience. Teams raced to assemble bicycles while keeping quality and teamwork at the forefront. Their efforts resulted in four completed bikes that were donated to A Greater Hope, an organization that supports children and families involved in foster care. As the bikes came together, so did the team. Participants moved beyond departmental boundaries and focused on helping one another succeed. The combination of friendly competition and community impact created a memorable experience for everyone involved.
