On Sept. 23, Acxiom hosted a charity Build-a-Bike® event in Miami Beach, FL. 35 leaders from around the world came together for a team-building event at The Ritz-Carlton. The event reinforced the theme of the group’s conference, “OneAcxiom.” The team built bikes for kids through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s South Beach Club.

Acxiom Team Leaders Come Together For Charity Bike Build
The Build-A-Bike® was built into Acxiom’s global leadership conference to reinforce its “OneAcxiom” theme. The team dove into the competitive side of the activity while the natural bonding of building something together took hold. The experience gave leaders from around the world a shared, hands-on way to live out the conference’s message.
That energy carried through to the very end. When a representative from the local Boys & Girls Club spoke to the group. Her heartfelt message about the kids who would receive the bikes deepened the moment, and the entire team left with smiles on their faces.
The finished bikes went to kids through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s South Beach Club. They serve youth in kindergarten through 12th grade with an after-school program offering academic support, STEM learning, sports, arts, and career readiness programming. Charity representative Ronny Vera accepted the bikes on behalf of the club.
