Simplify Group Charity Team-Building Event in Orlando, FL

Simplify Group gathered 70 senior executives and sponsor partners for a Build-A-Bike® charity team-building event in Orlando, Florida, on Sept. 30. The event was held at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal. Marking the kickoff of the company’s inaugural SimplifyCares giving-back initiative. By the end of the day, the group had assembled 14 new bikes for children represented by the Children’s Home Society of Florida.

Simplify Group Launches SimplifyCares Charity Bike Build in Orlando

The event was the centerpiece of SimplifyCares, the new giving-back initiative unveiled at Simplify Connect™, the company’s annual customer conference. The senior executives and sponsor partners in the room embraced the camaraderie that’s intrinsic to Build-A-Bike®. By the time the last bike rolled off the line, genuine bonds had formed. And a real sense of accomplishment was shared by everyone in the room.

That energy had somewhere meaningful to go. The 14 finished bikes went to underprivileged children in the local area, represented by the Children’s Home Society of Florida. They take a cradle-to-career approach — bringing together education, healthcare, family support, and economic opportunity. Helping more than 50,000 of Florida’s vulnerable children and families thrive each year. Charity representative Tamara Frazier accepted the bikes on behalf of the organization.

Simplify Group Founder and Executive Chair Mohammed Vaid had this to say in a joint press release announcing the partnership. “Team building is most powerful when it points outward… our teams didn’t just talk about the future of healthcare. They built something real.” Children’s Home Society of Florida President and CEO Andry Sweet added that each bicycle represents “stability and joy for a child who has faced more than their share of uncertainty.”

We’d like to thank the Simplify Group for launching SimplifyCares with an event that gave their team a genuine reason to connect. We would also like to thank the Children’s Home Society of Florida for the incredible work they do for the community.
